Fox 21 News in Duluth, Minnesota

This is slightly off-topic here, but since this is my site that not a particularly large amount of people go to, I thought I’d share this anyways. As some of you may or may not be aware of, besides all the other projects I’m involved with, I also work part-time at Fox 21 News here in Duluth, MN. I do live audio for a couple shows a week, work floor crew a night, and also do a photojournalist shift once a week. It’s a nice diversion from the music and such.

In any case, I was lucky to have happen to go on a particular shoot this last Sunday (Snocross at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minnesota) where a stunt snowmobile driver happened to wipe out while trying to attempt a back-flip. I managed to follow him through while he attempted the stunt, and unfortunately lost grip of the snowmobile. He collapsed to the ground seperated from the sled, but was fortunately mostly okay. Here’s the video from the Duluth News Tribune website: Blaze Attempts Back Flip

Also, don’t forget to watch PBS WDSE Channel 8 (Duluth, Minnesota) at 8:30pm Sunday December 2nd. Craig Blacklock and I will be answering a couple of questions about he film Minnesota’s North Shore. The book & DVD as well as the DVD alone are available from Erratik Productions now as well.

Enjoy!
