Primarily aided in the running of the family business, the Blue Max Resort, from August, 1996 until May, 2006 (the sale of the business) under the supervision of the owner, Lorna Rapsys. Most recent duties at the Blue Max included: managing, bartending, cooking, payroll, business taxes, opening and closing, balancing out the cash registers, programming menu items and employees on the computer register system, basic maintenance, marketing, creating a website, creating special events, designing and printing signage (flyers, price lists) and menus, and developing an employee handbook. Past duties at the Blue Max include: dishwashing, bussing, serving tables, and lawn care.

- Acted as the UMD Music Department Student Technology Representative for the School of Fine Arts.
- Assisted in the creation of a computer animation (It Takes Two – Lisa Valdez, producer) developed by the Visual and Digital Imaging Laboratory at UMD (as composer, music editor, and sound effects creator and editor).
- Completed a UMD Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) project dealing with the engraving and publishing of unpublished classical piano works.

- Featured as a student presenter of music technologies in several music technology related courses at UMD.
